About Us header

At MTA, we like to think we offer tennis with a difference.

All our coaches play using the Academy’s unique S.E.L.F. system:-
They must coach SAFELY and with ENTHUSIASM, incorporating a focused LEARNING component not forgetting to also have FUN.

We also have developed the unique RACER system as a direct result of Mike’s years of on court experience, his diploma in Sports Psychology and studies in Psychodynamic Counselling.

MTA is an accredited  member of Clubmark -  the only national cross-sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. Supported by Sport England,  membership  ensures that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
